Take the mystery out of grammar and mechanics! Empowering Writers will provide the “how” for delivering direct instruction in revising and editing. This virtual workshop is divided into four sessions, with session two broken into two parts. Each session is approximately 50-60 minutes long. You will have the recordings available to you for a total of two weeks. The recorded sessions allow you, the participant, to view the videos at your own pace during the open window. View, rewind, take notes, and review any sections as you apply the learning to your classroom instruction. It is so much more than skill and drill!

Along with the recorded sessions, you will receive a supplemental
handout that provides student reference sheets, activity instructions and templates, and student writing samples used in the presentation. These will provide a quick reference as well as extensions that are beyond the contents of your guide.
